From new dining & entertainment for entertaining clients, to a celebrity hosted adventure for an epic themed party to exploring an entirely new world with colleagues, Orlando is ramping up for another landmark year with even more reasons to host an #OrlandoMeeting. We've gathered a list of new openings coming to Orlando this year guaranteed to provide your attendees with a conference they will never forget.

"Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon" at Universal Studios Florida is within the New York themed area and sets the stage for an immersive environment with Universal excitement. The attraction invites guests to join the Tonight Show's studio audience on the ultimate race through the streets - and skies - of New York City.

Volcano Bay at Universal Orlando Resort, opening in May 2017, is an all-new water park inspired by postcard-perfect tropical islands promising innovative, thrilling attractions made even more enjoyable with new technology eliminating long lines or wrestling with tubes. 


Pandora - The World of AVATAR, the largest expansion in Disney's Animal Kingdom history opening May 2017, will feature an entirely new land for attendees to experience, complete with  floating mountains, bioluminescent rainforests and a Banshee flying attraction, as well as new after-dark entertainment.

SeaWorld Orlando's Kraken roller coaster will transform into one of Florida's only virtual reality roller coaster experiences, taking guests on a deep sea mission alongside sea creatures. The totally immersive attraction complements SeaWorld’s exclusive group event packages as just one of the many themed areas to host a reception within the park. 



Orlando's 25,500-seat Multipurpose Soccer Stadium, home to the Orlando City Lions and Orlando Pride soccer teams, is scheduled to open prior to the 2017 MLS season.

United States Tennis Association has made Orlando the new home of American tennis as the new state-of-the-art headquarters' facility opened in January, featuring over 100 courts.

Top Golf Orlando, opening fall 2017, will offer more than 100 climate-controlled hitting bays with advanced technology to track accuracy and distance of players' shots. The venue offers group and event packages complete with interactive games, catering, and in-house audio/visual.  


Andretti Indoor Karting & Games, opening summer 2017, is a 160,000+ square feet indoor facility with high-speed electric superkarts on a two-level track, over 120 arcade games, a rock wall, zip line and more. Right in the middle of convention district.

Downtown Orlando's new 54-room boutique property, The Delaney Hotel, opens by late spring 2017 and offers high-tech conveniences such as remote check-in, in-room digital tablet-based concierge services and smart phone room keys.

The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort’s Dolphin lobby is undergoing a complete transformation as the final project of the largest makeover in the resort’s history. The Dolphin lobby will be upgraded with a contemporary theme with unique features for guests to relax, network and enjoy new dining and beverage options. 



Disney Springs adds more new dining experiences including: The Edison, themed around a 1920s-era electric company with live entertainment, classic American food and craft cocktails; The Polite Pig, sister restaurant of The Ravenous Pig in Winter Park, led by local celebrity chefs James and Julie Petrakis; Planet Hollywood Observatory featuring a Guy Fieri sandwich menu; and Wine Bar George, the only Master Sommelier-led wine bar in Florida. 


Circo Orlando, will be the top-level tenant at the new 10-story parking and retail structure next to Mango's Tropical Café Orlando. The 10,000-square-foot restaurant, offering high-end Italian cuisine, is slated to open in the second quarter of 2017.



The Orange County Convention Center will complete a new pedestrian bridge will connect the West Building of the Center to the Hyatt Regency Hotel. The bridge opens May 2017 and will be the fifth bridge connecting nearby hotels to the convention center. 


The Orlando International Airport is undergoing a $1.3 billion Capital Improvement Program, which includes Airside 3 terminal-gate shuttle replacements, North Terminal Enhancements and the opening of the South Airport Automated People Mover (APM), scheduled to open in mid-2017. Other projects scheduled as part of the Program include Airside 1 train replacements and the Intermodal Terminal Facility, scheduled to open in 2018.
